Dr. Norman S. Bateh was born and raised in Jacksonville, FL. He attended the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL before attending Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee where he earned his Doctorate of Optometry degree. Dr. Bateh immediately moved home to Jacksonville in order to give back to his hometown community through eye care and has been doing so for over 40 years. Dr. Bateh is passionate about his profession and loves all his patients, old and new. He has a lot of experience in primary eye care as well as the treatment of ocular diseases and contact lens fitting. Dr. Bateh is an avid college football fan, and he enjoys spending time with family.

Dr. Laurie Bateh is a proud Florida native. Born and raised in Jacksonville, she attended the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL before attending Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry in Fort Lauderdale, FL, where she earned her Bachelor's of Science in Vision Science followed by her Doctorate of Optometry degree. She since moved back home to Jacksonville and joined her father in practice. She enjoys working alongside her father at Bateh Eye Care where she can continue to care for all our wonderful existing patients as well as our new patients. Her areas of most interest include primary care, pediatrics, and optical and business management. In her spare time, Dr. Laurie Bateh enjoys attending fitness classes and relaxing at the beach.

Dr. Amanda Bateh is a proud Florida native. Similarly to her sister, she was born and raised in Jacksonville, she attended the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL before attending Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry in Fort Lauderdale, FL, where she earned her Bachelor's of Science in Vision Science followed by her Doctorate of Optometry degree. She then went on to complete a residency in ocular disease and primary care at the Orlando VAMC. Following her residency, Dr. Amanda became a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and board member of the Northeast Florida Optometric Society.
In 2023, Dr. Amanda was named "Young Optometrist of the Year" by the Florida Optometric Association. Her areas of most interest include geriatrics, ocular disease, specialty contact lens fitting, and management of dry eyes.
